This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in public accounting while providing exceptional customer service and financial guidance.Duties• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and corporations with precision and efficiency. • Gather and analyze financial data using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other relevant tools to ensure accurate reporting. • Review client financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and bookkeeping records to identify potential deductions and credits. • Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients, explaining filing requirements and advising on tax planning strategies.• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize client benefits. • Assist clients with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, bank reconciliations, and maintaining organized financial records. • Use analysis skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial data and resolve issues promptly. • Support marketing efforts by promoting tax services to existing clients and identifying new opportunities for growth. • Maintain confidentiality of client information while providing exceptional customer service throughout the tax preparation process.• Complete 10-key typing tasks efficiently for data entry purposes during busy periods. Experience• No experience required we will train you! • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. • Customer service experience that highlights effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly. • Knowledge of sales strategies related to financial services can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
