Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Richmond, VA
Provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic telemetry unit dedicated to acute and stepdown patients, including post-cardiac catheterization, stroke, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure cases. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Current RN licensure, state-specific or compact, with at least one year of recent acute care RN experience • Telemetry experience required; one year of travel nursing experience preferred • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, with additional certifications such as CCRN or PCCN being advantageous • EPIC Electronic Health Record experience preferred • Ability to manage advanced drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin) and utilize telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring equipment • Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions Location Overview: Richmond, VA, offers a blend of historic charm and modern amenities.
