Job Summary:The Vendor Relations Rep works to resolve Vendor disputes by working with Accounts Payable, vendors, to identify causes for the issues and work proactively with the necessary areas to resolve and prevent issues in the future.They are required to maintain a good customer service relationship with the vendors to reduce potential issues and minimize the company’s exposure. Essential Duties andResponsibilities:• Vendor Statement reconciliations• Review and reconcile invoice variances• Root cause identification and resolution• Establish working relationships with vendors through ongoing correspondence and interaction• Communicate issues to Supervisor and Manager and follow-up on resolution• Reconcile vendor statements and provide closure to open issues• Review processes and recommend changes in order to provide a consistently high level of customer service• Accountable to maintain individual and team performance metrics and targets• Emphasize excellence with internal and external customer support• Represent MMG to external sources; both vendors and other associates• Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams to whom information is provided or from whom information is gathered• Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to identify additional ways to improve service• Support of continuous improvement efforts• Assist with special projects as neededRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• High school diploma or equivalent• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel knowledge)• Knowledge of purchase order and inventory management process• Understanding of basic accounting processes• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing• Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks• Excellent customer service skills• Associates or technical degree preferred• Minimum 2 years experienced preferredPI199922121Expected salary:Location: Georgetown, MAJob date: Mon, 26 Dec 2022 08:32:56 GMTApply for the job now!Apply tot his job
