The school fosters a collaborative and student-focused environment, creating personal connections among faculty, students, and alumni.Role DescriptionThis is part-time, at-will Visiting Lecturer position in Healthcare Information Management at the UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences, located in Amherst, MA. The Visiting Lecturer will teach fully online, asynchronous courses in Healthcare Information Management as part of the Online Master of Healthcare Administration degree program. They will develop and deliver course content, assess and grade student assignments, and provide mentorship. Additional responsibilities include staying abreast of advancements in healthcare information technology, collaborating with faculty members on curriculum development, and contributing to the academic and professional development of students.Qualifications• Proficiency in Healthcare Information Systems, Data Analytics, and Health Information Technology• Experience in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, and Classroom Management• Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills• Ability to mentor and advise students in academic and professional growth• Must have a terminal degree in Public Health or Healthcare Management• Previous teaching experience in higher education is highly desirable• Familiarity with evolving trends in healthcare technology and information management Apply tot his job
