Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable HR Leader for a once in a lifetime opportunity to build out the HR team and provide support to Parson’s soon to be awarded FAA Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) program. As part of this effort, Team Parsons is partnering closely with the FAA to modernize the national air traffic control system. This role is perfect for a proactive, mission oriented hands-on leader who is ready to develop and implement impactful HR solutions aligned with the program strategy. The FAA HR Leader will report to Federal Solutions Senior Vice President of HR and work closely with Team Parsons Program leadership and management teams. The successful candidate will have a hybrid work arrangement and be expected to attend frequent in person meetings in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. They will also be expected to occasionally travel to other U.S. locations as required. This position is part of our Corporate team. Responsibilities • Contribute to standing up and developing executive leadership and management teams tasked with delivering a Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) to the U.S. government. • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including compensation, employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational design, change management, and more. • Identify, hire, and develop a brand-new HR team dedicated to the FAA BNATCS program. • Collaborate with business leaders, your HR team, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide seamless HR support and guidance to the business. • Assess present and future HR needs, trends, and problems, and identify opportunities and actions to support business growth. • Develop and implement initiatives that focus on enhancing employee experience and/or drive manager engagement with an acute focus on improving overall employee attraction and retention. • Participate in and/or lead HR projects to drive improved alignment of processes, systems, and interdependencies to manage compliance, improve employee engagement, and achieve business expectations. • Leverage HR data analytics to support decision-making, assess best practices, and identify areas for improvement. • Support a variety of program growth activities, including new business proposals. • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field • 15+ years of progressive work experience including 6+ years in a leadership role • Experience in government contracting • Proven ability to lead a diverse group of human resource professionals • Experience leading highly complex efforts or initiatives that require stakeholder engagement and change management • Proven ability to support organizational and team development efforts including providing coaching to senior leadership • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, and pressure filled environment • Ability to inspire trust, confidence, and consensus among diverse teams or stakeholders • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills • Action and results-oriented Nice-to-haves • Proficiency in Workday. • Professional certification (PHR or SPHR) or a Master’s degree. • FAA Experience – direct employment or supporting an FAA program Benefits • medical • dental • vision • paid time off • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) • 401(k) • life insurance • flexible work schedules • holidays Apply tot his job
