ATS is a leading provider of massively parallel electronic test systems that includes System Level Test (SLT), burn in and semiconductor/module tests. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, hands-on and able to work successfully in a stimulating engineering environment.This key role is based at our Irvine facility (transitioning to new Lake Forest site in November 2022) and is an in-office position (e.g. not WFH). Essential Duties &Responsibilities:• Analyze customer forecasts and purchase patterns to perform optimum inventory planning; manage material requirement planning (MRP) execution in excel and ultimately Rapid Response (Kinaxsis)• Coordinating with Ops PMs to manage customer requirements including factory schedules/production, planning and order integrity by directing manufacturing and logistics to optimize supply chain availability.• Working closely with Program Managers, Engineers, Operations, Supply Chain, and Production in effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner. • Coordinating with Production and Engineers to determine BOM inaccuracies and enact hold policy on WIP resulting in rapid resolution and an accurate bill of material record. • Develop and implement inventory plans base on MRP requirements, production, inventory goals and departmental guidelines for assign materials• Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality• All other duties as assigned.RequirementsRequirements, Education & Skills:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 5+ years’ experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field is preferred• Experienced using ERP database (Oracle preferred, Rapid Response, other)• Proven experience working as a Production Planner• Familiarity and experience with Bills of Material• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially excel• Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP/ERP) and related software• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Effective communication skills• Proven ability to multi-task in a challenging environment• This is an on-site role in our Irvine/Lake Forest Office.Position TypeRegularLocation(s)US-CA-IrvineField of ActivityProduction Engineering- § 60-300.5(a)(2)(3)(4) Equal opportunity clause.
