Android Developer Needed — Voice-Guided Clinical Workflow App (NO sensors / NO BLE) Overview I am looking for an experienced Android developer to build a fixed-scope pilot app that validates a voice-guided clinical workflow used by medical assistants in outpatient clinics. This project is not about data science, sensors, Bluetooth, or analytics. It is strictly about workflow, clarity, and usability in a clinical environment. IMPORTANT — READ FIRST This initial pilot explicitly does NOT include Bluetooth, sensors, IMUs, motion data, analytics, AI interpretation, or numeric metrics of any kind. All outcomes in this phase are manually selected by the medical assistant for workflow validation only. If your proposal assumes BLE, IoT, sensor streaming, scoring algorithms, dashboards, or future-phase architecture, this project is not a fit. Who This Is For This project is best suited for: A solo Android developer or very small team Someone experienced with workflow-driven apps, such as: guided protocols checklists clinical forms step-by-step voice-prompted flows Agencies and hardware-first developers are not a fit for this phase. What the App Does (Pilot Scope) Runs on an Android tablet Used by a medical assistant App plays audible instructions using Android Text-to-Speech (TTS) (patients do not read from the screen) App progresses through a fixed, linear sequence of steps Each step has: audible setup instruction “begin” fixed-duration run “stop” No countdowns, no metronomes, no mid-step prompts After each step, the MA selects a qualitative outcome from a short fixed list Optional checkbox for “hands-on assistance required” At the end, the app generates a simple one-page qualitative PDF summary This pilot is designed to validate clinic workflow, not clinical scoring. Core Functional Requirements Android (Kotlin preferred) Clean, clinician-facing UI Voice instructions via Android TTS Fixed-duration steps (start → stop only) Manual qualitative outcome selection One-page PDF generation Local-only operation (no login, no backend, no cloud) Explicit Exclusions (Non-Negotiable) This phase does not include: Bluetooth or sensor pairing Motion capture or numeric metrics Charts, graphs, or analytics AI interpretation Cloud storage, accounts, or backend services App Store deployment Future phases may include additional functionality, but not in this project.
