Advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection. Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential privacy and data protection issues within the organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and mitigate potential risks related to data collection, use, and storage. Monitor and stay current on changes and developments in privacy and data protection laws and regulations.Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to data privacy and protection. Train and educate employees on privacy and data protection best practices and compliance requirements. Serve as the main point of contact for data privacy and protection inquiries and requests. Collaborate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies on privacy and data protection matters. Investigate and respond to data breaches and incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Advise on vendor contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.Conduct due diligence on potential mergers and acquisitions to identify privacy and data protection risks. Participate in the development and implementation of privacy and data protection training for customers and partners. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data privacy impact assessments for new products and services. Serve as an advocate for data privacy and protection within the organization and promote a culture of privacy awareness and compliance.
