Job Title: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Tax Planning, Bookkeeping & AccountingOverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong experience in tax planning, bookkeeping, and full-cycle accounting. This position will start as part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the client roster expands. Long-term, the right candidate may progress into a team management or leadership position within the firm. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and able to provide strategic financial guidance while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Planning & Advisory• Develop and implement strategic tax plans for individuals and businesses• Identify tax-saving opportunities and support clients with entity structure and financial strategy• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (business and individual)• Provide year-round tax projections and tailored recommendations• Guide clients on estimated payments, quarterly planning, and cash-flow considerations• Explain complex tax regulations clearly and professionallyBookkeeping & Financial Management• Manage accurate, timely bookkeeping for business clients• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly closing processes• Maintain general ledgers, financial statements, payroll records, and other documentation• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting standards• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actionsAccounting & Advisory Services• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and custom reports• Provide insights on trends, financial performance, and strategic decision-making• Assist clients with entity selection, restructuring, and workflow improvements• Support clients with IRS notices or general tax-related issues• Collaborate with internal team members and outside auditors as neededGrowth & Leadership Opportunities• Position begins as part-time (flexible scheduling available)• Role will expand to full-time as workload scales• High-performing candidates may progress into:• Team lead roles• Manager-level oversight• Building and managing a tax/accounting teamThis role is ideal for a CPA who wants professional growth, career advancement, and increasing responsibility over time.Qualifications• Active CPA license (required)• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public accounting, tax planning, or similar work• Strong knowledge of:• Federal & state tax laws• Small-business accounting• Accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)• GAAP and financial reporting standards• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines efficientlyPreferred Skills (Optional)• Experience in tax strategy for small businesses, real estate, or high-income clients• Familiarity with IRS representation or tax resolution• Ability to train, mentor, and collaborate with junior staff• Strong Excel skills and comfort with automation toolsCompensation & Benefits(Customize as needed.)• Competitive pay based on experience• Bonus opportunities• Flexible work schedule• Professional development & continuing education support• Potential leadership growth within the firmPlease submit your resume, CPA credentials, and a brief summary of relevant tax planning and accounting experience.Job Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 – 30 per weekExperience:• Tax Planning : 2 years (Preferred)Work Location:Remote Apply tot his job
