Data Analyst, Away from Home Sales Operations
Job Description: • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources including sales, distribution, customer feedback, and market trends • Perform analysis and generate reports from disparate systems to support sales requests, customer presentations, and strategic initiatives • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to identify business opportunities and challenges • Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning • Support data-driven decision by translating complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for Sales Leaders, RSMs, BDMs, and cross-functional stakeholders • Ensure data integrity and maintain documentation of methodologies and processes Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in data analysis in the consumer product goods industry • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar) • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and deliver actionable insights • Strong data hygiene mindset (matching, deduping, referential integrity) • Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., Datassential) • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convert analytics into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical audiences • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team • Experience in data analysis in Away from Home Segment (Foodservice) • Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis • Knowledge of the foodservice marketplace and product categories • Experience working with Salesforce data models (Accounts, Opportunities, Activities) • Knowledge of operator and distributor ecosystems (Sysco, US Foods, Gordon, regional distributors), GPOs, and broker models or knowledge of B2B Wholesaler model • Ability to effectively present insights from analysis to customers • Project management experience Benefits: • Our Total Rewards benefits • Continuous opportunities to learn, grow and develop Apply tot his job
