Digital Solution Arch. Lead Consultant
As a Digital Transformation Solutions Architect, you will operate at the organizational and enterprise level, leading the implementation of architectural patterns that eliminate friction, reduce technical debt, and enable sustained innovation. You will work hands-on with development teams while engaging with C-suite stakeholders to align technology investments with strategic business outcomes. You will champion a platform mindset over integrated systems, ensuring that every architectural decision creates options rather than constraints. Your expertise will guide teams in building systems with natural seams for change, contract-first APIs, and clean separation of core domain logic from infrastructure concerns. You will also drive AI-augmented architecture and software engineering practices, helping teams leverage intelligent tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining architectural integrity. Engage at the C-suite level to translate technical architecture into business language Develop future-state enterprise architecture views and actionable transformation roadmaps Lead pre-sales technical strategy, solution design, and proposal development Create and maintain developer portals, reference repositories, and platform documentation that enable frictionless onboarding Foster developer experience as customer experience, treating internal teams as first-class platform consumers Champion AI-augmented software engineering practices, leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to amplify developer productivity and accelerate high-quality delivery Lead domain decomposition using DDD principles to identify Core, Supporting, and Generic sub-domains, ensuring strategic differentiation is protected and solved problems are not re-solved Design and enforce seams (anti-corruption layers) between domains, preventing detail leakage and maintaining axes for change Champion contract-first API design using OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and automated contract testing Guide cloud-native adoption: 12-factor principles, containerization, horizontal scaling, and managed services optimization Foundational Responsibilities *Agile Flow: Champion flow over ceremony; implement Scrumban and lean delivery practices that eliminate wait, hand-offs, and rework *DevSecOps Automation: Establish everything-as-code, immutable infrastructure, automated CI/CD pipelines, and self-service developer platforms *Quality Engineering: Implement test automation strategies aligned to architectural patterns; enforce regression prevention through automated test suites *Architectural Patterns: Define and maintain reference architectures for microservices, clean/hexagonal architecture, and domain-driven design *AI-Augmented Engineering: Establish patterns and guardrails for AI-assisted development, ensuring teams harness intelligent tooling responsibly and effectively 10+ years architecting, designing, and building enterprise solutions (hands-on implementation experience required) 4+ years experience in cloud-native patterns: 12-factor applications, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless architectures, and managed cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) 4+ years experience with Domain-Driven Design principles: bounded contexts, aggregate design, domain events, and strategic domain mapping 4+ years experience with DevSecOps toolchains: infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and observability platforms 5+ years implementing agile delivery practices with a focus on flow optimization and value stream mapping Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service infrastructure portals Strong foundation in modern architectural patterns: Clean/Hexagonal architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, microservices, and API-first design Background in platform engineering, including API gateways, service meshes, and developer experience tooling Experience with event-driven architectures, message brokers, and distributed systems patterns Track record of migrating legacy monoliths to modular, cloud-native architectures using strangler fig or similar patterns Hands-on experience with AI-augmented development workflows and establishing team practices around AI coding assistants Experience with AI/ML integration patterns and preparing systems for AI-powered operations Demonstrated ability to communicate and present architectural vision at executive level using business language Experience providing pre-sales support and contributing to technical proposals Ideal Mindset *Platform Thinker. You see integrated systems as opportunities for platformization. You understand the difference between false equivalence and true adoption. *Anti-Friction Advocate. You introduce seams, eliminate coupling, and pull value forward. *Builder, Not Just Advisor. You don't just draw diagrams—you write code, review pull requests, and validate patterns through implementation. *AI-Augmented Practitioner. You embrace intelligent tooling as a force multiplier, modeling effective AI-assisted workflows for the teams you lead. *Pragmatic Idealist. You know when to swipe the tech debt credit card and when to pay it down. You avoid holy wars and practice disagree-and-commit. *Continuous Learner. You stay current with industry evolution while recognizing that the foundation (Lean, Agile, DevOps) is timeless. *Servant Leader. You provide on-ramps for impacted teams, invest in developer experience, and understand that organizational change is the hardest part.
