Engineer III, Manufacturing Engineering
About the positionResponsibilities• Develop, fabricate, modify, and evaluate parts, assemblies, components, sub-assemblies, tooling, and final products to support manufacturing departments. • Support manufacturing departments by collecting and processing information related to assigned projects. • Prepare and manufacture prototypes and participate in design reviews. • Develop manufacturing processes, production line layouts, fixture design, and equipment validations. • Assist Packaging Engineering Team with packaging improvements and bolthires reduction.• Assess and resolve packaging problems arising in production or in the field. • Develop and issue detailed specifications for procurement of packaging components. • Design and procure equipment, machines, and tools. • Monitor performance of equipment, machines, tools, and manufacturing processes. • Qualify equipment in an FDA regulated industry by managing qualification and production documentation. • Ensure compliance with corporate site and regulatory policies, practices, and guidelines. Requirements• Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.• 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, or a related occupation. • Manufacturing Engineering experience within manufacturing, processing, or packaging automation. • Experience investigating equipment failures or difficult to diagnose faulty operation and recommending remedial actions. • Ability to generate reports using SAP and Dynamics. • Experience specifying system components or directing modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design, performance specifications, and environmental regulations.• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. • Experience implementing Root Cause Failure Analysis on systems or processes. • Knowledge of Six Sigma Methodologies. • Project Management experience. • Proficiency in engineering graphics.
