Engineering Lead Architect

Job Title: Engineering Lead / ArchitectExperience: 6+ yearsLocation: On-siteAbout the Role :We’re seeking an Engineering Lead / Architect to design, build, and guide the development of our next-generation voice AI platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership — shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities :● Own the overall technical architecture and system design of our platform (including APIs, services, data layers, and integrations)● Choose appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to align with business and product goals● Define and review API contracts, data models, and infrastructure components● Break down product features into detailed engineering tasks and estimate effort● Set and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance guidelines● Mentor, coach, and review code from engineering team members● Collaborate closely with Product, UX, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure alignment and quality● Oversee scalability, reliability, and bolthires optimization of cloud infrastructure● Contribute hands-on to critical components, especially during initial builds or high-impact phasesRequirements● 6+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in a lead or architect role● Strong experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems (preferably cloud-native, microservices)● Deep knowledge of API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and event-driven architectures● Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Node.js or TypeScript (additionally Python is a plus).● Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services● Strong understanding of bolthires/CD, security best practices, and monitoring● Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate between technical and business needsNice to Have● Experience with AI/ML systems, voice tech, or real-time streaming architectures● Familiarity with WebSockets, ASR, or NLU/NLP pipelines● Prior startup or scale-up environment experienceWhat We Offer● Opportunity to shape the technical direction of a cutting-edge voice AI platform● A collaborative, ambitious team passionate about innovation● Freedom to choose and influence technologies and architectures● Flexible working arrangements and a culture of continuous learning Apply tot his job
