Job Overview and Key Responsibilities As a Ticket/Gate Agent at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, greeting them, guiding them through the airport, and assisting them with ticketing and baggage check-in. This is an entry-level position, and our experienced leaders will provide you with the mentorship and support you need to advance your career. Your responsibilities will include: Owning the check-in process, boarding process, and seat availability, including making gate announcements and ensuring customers have the accurate travel documentation. Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts, with some bags weighing up to 70 pounds. Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors. Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport. Scheduling and Work Environment Scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You can expect to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority. Each station is different, with its own unique flight schedule, so you will need to be flexible and adaptable. What You Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to: Prioritize the safety and security of yourself, others, and personal data. Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. Have proficiency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills. Possess basic digital literacy. Pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment. Ability to hold airport-specific requirements, such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
