Key Responsibilities: Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders as needed. Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Obtain a active professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a page, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or nationally recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
