Job Overview In this full-time remote position, you will work as a call center representative, handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing support to pharmacists and other team members. Your primary responsibilities will include processing patient enrollment, handling patient medication requests, investigating missing prescription data, and resolving third-party rejections. You will utilize arenaflex's pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Process patient enrollment and data entry tasks using arenaflex's systems and guidelines Handle patient medication requests, including refills and transfers, in accordance with HIPAA regulations Investigate and resolve missing prescription data, deciphering medical abbreviations (SIG codes) as needed Resolve third-party rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing Communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or messaging, providing excellent customer service and support Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to resolve issues and provide assistance as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and navigating programs Basic internet search skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, and using a search engine Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents) Effective written and verbal communication skills At least 18 years old Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or call center environment Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician by the state or a nationally recognized certification agency Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents) Fluency in Spanish and English Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medical terminology Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
