**Experienced Crisis Specialist – 988 Chat/Text Crisis Support (3rd Shift) Friday-Sunday**

We're seeking an experienced Crisis Specialist to join our 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team, handling incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988. As a Crisis Specialist, you'll provide brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress. **About the Role** This is a remote position on a dynamic team, working a 3rd shift schedule from Friday to Sunday, 6pm-2:30am CST (Monday to Thursday off). You'll be responsible for providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments, answering crisis contacts via the chat/text platform, and conducting follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide. **Key Responsibilities** * Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments * Answers crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs * Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide * Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation * Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings * Assist in administrative tasks as needed **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** * Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods * Demonstrates high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette * Demonstrates knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources * Knowledge of suicide assessments * Skill in providing crisis intervention **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist * Six months to one year of related crisis experience required **Work Environment and Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a workplace that reflects the growing world around us, where everyone feels empowered, safe, and welcomed.
