Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience in our store. Your key responsibilities will include: Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Registers sales on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items, keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, and taking inventory and maintaining records. Implementing asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, completing resets and revisions as directed. Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures, and providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store. Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, and complying with all company policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional customer service. Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing efficient and friendly service to customers. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching. High school diploma or equivalent required, with some retail experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous retail experience, with a focus on customer service and sales. Knowledge of store systems and store equipment, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
