Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional service to our members and providers. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The position may require working early, evening, and weekend shifts, with an 8-hour shift between 6am and 9pm CST. A shift bid process will be implemented, and training will be provided from 8-430 CST for 17-20 weeks. Key Responsibilities Answer questions and resolve issues with individualized customer service based on phone calls from members and providers, ensuring prompt satisfaction and first-call resolution. Utilize multiple applications and available resources to address customer inquiries, which can range from basic to complex in nature. Document and track contacts with members, providers, or any additional callers, maintaining accurate records and following up as necessary. Complete outbound calls to members or providers to provide education and/or assist with escalations, demonstrating empathy and compassion in every interaction. Build trusting relationships with our members by engaging and providing education to support them in managing their health and guiding them along a clear path to care. Provide end-to-end accountability for the member or provider by anticipating needs and providing information to answer unasked questions, including additional plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, and more. Guide members through their plan benefits, policy, and procedures, as well as knowledge of resources to comply with any regulatory guidelines. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: 1-2 years of previous call center experience, with the ability to handle calls efficiently in a high-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on detail and quality. Critical thinking skills, with the ability to support individual, team, and business goals and initiatives. A member-centric approach to customer service, with the drive to be a champion for our members and manage each call with the purpose of first-call resolution. High School or GED equivalent, with a strong educational foundation. Essential Competencies Empathy and compassion in every interaction, with a genuine desire to help and support our members.
