Our team is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, learning, and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * Greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner * Consulting with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise * Demonstrating and explaining merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customers' needs * Answering customers' questions about merchandise and providing expert advice * Assisting customers with purchase decisions and ensuring a smooth checkout process * Retrieving merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations * Collecting payment using the store's point-of-sale system * Maintaining store interior and exterior cleanliness, including the gas bay, pumps, parking lot, and grass island(s) * Performing other duties as assigned, including covering call-ins until relief staff is in place **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent * Previous retail experience preferred * Excellent verbal communication skills * Excellent active listening skills * Excellent sales and customer service skills * Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold * Ability to anticipate customers' needs * Ability to recommend merchandise to customers * Ability to operate or quickly learn the store's point-of-sale system * Ability to manage time accordingly **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a retail environment * Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds at times * Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, twist, reach above head & below knees, squat, and safely climb a ladder/step stool **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences * Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
