About the Role As a Customer Success Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in our Borrower Success Team, working directly with student loan borrowers to help them navigate our tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you'll quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the first point of contact for our users and providing exceptional support to ensure their success. This remote, full-time contractor role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring in our NYC office based on performance and company needs. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving borrower success and contributing to the growth and development of our organization. Key Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of arenaflex's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the student loan landscape Engage with borrowers via email and live chat, providing timely and effective support to ensure their success and resolve any issues that may arise Review and submit applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all submissions Proactively suggest and implement ideas and automations that can help scale the team, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our operations Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, creating new features and offerings that meet the evolving needs of our borrowers Work closely with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning our efforts with our social mission and values Recommended Experience and Qualifications We're seeking talented individuals with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support. A passion for applying your skills and experience in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue is essential.
