Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and timely customs clearance for shipments, while also maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Process customs clearance for shipments, using data from various sources, including databases, SOPs, duty books, and the web * Handle and process different import-related documentation for submission to US Customs, as well as manage relationships with participating government agencies (PGAs) * Maintain and update all shipment documentation in accordance with record-keeping requirements * Comply with all international importing and exporting regulations * Collaborate with internal staff, departments, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver high-quality service and meet customer expectations * Process organizational financier shipments and manage distant filings as needed * Ensure adherence to all service and organizational policies and procedures **Essential Qualifications** * High School Certificate or GED required * No industry experience necessary, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred * Data entry/keyboard experience required * Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and Office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner) * Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills * Organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines * Capacity to use various systems and reference materials * Ability to collaborate with clients, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., international trade, logistics, business administration) * Experience in customs clearance, international trade, or logistics * Knowledge of international trade regulations and laws * Familiarity with customs clearance software and systems * Certification in customs brokerage or a related field **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Capacity to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
