With a global presence and a diverse range of services, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in international trade and commerce. **Job Summary** As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders. Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and timely customs clearance for shipments, while also maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Process customs clearance for shipments, using data from various sources, including databases, SOPs, duty books, and the web * Handle and process different import-related documentation for submission to US Customs, as well as manage relationships with participating government agencies (PGAs) * Maintain and update all shipment documentation in accordance with record-keeping requirements * Comply with all international importing and exporting regulations * Collaborate with internal staff, departments, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver high-quality service and meet customer expectations * Process organizational financier shipments and manage distant filings as needed * Ensure adherence to all service and organizational policies and procedures **Essential Qualifications** * High School Certificate or GED required * No industry experience necessary, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred * Data entry/keyboard experience required * Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and Office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner) * Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills * Organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines * Capacity to use various systems and reference materials * Ability to collaborate with clients, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., international trade, logistics, business administration) * Experience in customs clearance, international trade, or logistics * Knowledge of international trade regulations and laws * Familiarity with customs clearance software and systems * Certification in customs brokerage or a related field **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Capacity to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
