Job Overview As a Data Engineer - Data Analytics at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing and operationalizing data pipelines to make data available for consumption, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality control. You will work closely with Data Architects, Data Scientists, and BI Architects to develop and maintain scalable data models and pipelines. Your expertise in programming, SQL, data storage, modeling, cloud, data warehousing, and data lakes will be essential in driving business growth and informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deliver automated data pipelines from various internal and external data sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, engineering, and data platform groups, to design, build, test, and automate data pipelines. Develop and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements. Work with Data Modelers to create and maintain data models, and develop data pipelines to store data in defined models and formats. Implement big data and NoSQL solutions, developing scalable data processing platforms to drive high-value insights for the organization. Support the development of Data Dictionaries and Data Taxonomy for product offerings. Demonstrate strong understanding of coding and programming concepts, data integration methods, and database architecture. Lead ad-hoc data retrieval for business reports and dashboards, and review the integrity of data from various sources. Manage database design, installation, and maintenance, ensuring data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 3+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IICS. 3+ years of experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing. 3+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies, such as ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other big data technologies. Advanced SQL skills, with a strong understanding of relational databases and business data. Ability to work in a high-speed agile development environment, with flexibility to address business needs, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties on a rotational basis. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent programming/services experience. Azure Certifications. Experience implementing data integration strategies, such as event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL. Experience with Git/Azure DevOps. Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development processes. Familiarity with the retail industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with SAP integration tools, including Bodies. Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler.
