About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join our team, playing a pivotal role in driving product development and strategic insights. As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and enable product advancements using robust measurement techniques, experimentation, and modeling. Key Responsibilities Drive product innovation through robust measurement techniques across experimentation, modeling, and analysis, as well as tooling, to inform product vision and strategy. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to shape the vision of a product space, whether through defining product strategy or creating new metrics. Design and implement experimentation and measurement strategies to accelerate project velocity and support complex decision-making. Work with ownership and accountability, ensuring that the team delivers consistent and high-quality results that impact product decisions and direction. Collaborate with data scientists, data and analytics specialists, and business teams to drive product vision and advance measurement strategy through new metrics, systemic approaches, and in-depth analyses. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics). At least four years of experience applying statistical and numerical concepts to drive decisions at scale. Strong statistical skills and instinct, with applied experience solving problems in consumer-facing product areas. Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages (Python and/or R). Passion for driving product vision and growth strategy by utilizing a broad range of techniques and building strong partnerships with stakeholders. Solid product sense to balance addressing partner or test-specific requirements and investing in flexible solutions to serve general use cases. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical concepts to diverse audiences. Comfort with uncertainty and the ability to thrive with minimal oversight and interaction. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., master's or Ph.D.). Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js).
