Job Summary In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our technology team to develop and maintain comprehensive data coverage, provide departmental insights on performance, and create data models to solve complex quantitative tasks. As a Data Analyst and Online Chat Assistant at arenaflex, you will be responsible for creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc reporting to support business processes and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain complex data pipelines, architectures, and models to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making Create and manage new data sources, ensuring data integrity, quality, and accessibility Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand business needs and develop tailored data solutions Design and develop scalable data pipelines, data structures, and data visualizations using Power BI, Excel, and other tools Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions Automate existing business functions, enhance exception-based reporting, and identify areas for process improvement Partner with IT and business teams to discover, analyze, and acquire new data variables, leveraging data mining techniques Analyze large datasets to identify relevant patterns, trends, and insights, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders Validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, ensuring data quality and integrity Participate in the Data Governance program, updating the data dictionary, and developing policies and procedures to ensure data compliance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in performing comprehensive data analysis, business intelligence, and data modeling Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations Proficiency in SQL, DAX, M Code, and other data analysis tools and technologies Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies Problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and working with large datasets Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query Familiarity with Smartsheets and other project management tools Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of tasks and deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data compliance principles Experience with data mining, machine learning, or other advanced data analysis techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
