Job Overview Under the supervision of the Customer Retention Manager(s), the Remote Customer Retention Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and issues related to Internet Customer Service via phone. You will be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving customer concerns, and providing lighting and home décor solutions that meet the company's goals and customer expectations. Our comprehensive training program, which includes approximately four to six weeks of paid training at our headquarters or via webinar, will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls on all Customer Service related inquiries, order changes, status updates, and cancellations with empathy and a focus on solving customer problems on the first call Address customer concerns with empathy and present arenaflex in a positive light at all times Utilize salesmanship to maximize sales opportunities and meet sales goals and expectations Suggest products to customers while probing for additional information to provide tailored solutions Prevent customer returns and ensure customer retention through reasonable negotiations and by providing solutions that benefit both the company and the customer Demonstrate self-confidence and a desire to go the extra mile to create a positive customer experience every time Partner with Management on escalated customer and product issues, identifying trends and communicating them to management in measurable terms Provide proactive, consistent follow-up to all customer inquiries via phone or email, responding to every customer email the same day Document a complete summary of customer inquiries, actions taken, and expectations set forth on the respective order Maintain standards set forth by the company QA program, providing the highest quality of service and demonstrating improvements when necessary Essential Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or retail background, with call center experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate details to customers in a professional and calm manner Computer literate, with the ability to navigate through programs and windows Excellent typing and data entry skills, with the ability to multi-task (e.g., talk on the phone and type notes simultaneously) Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Availability to work Saturdays, with regular job attendance required in accordance with a regular schedule established for the position by the supervisor Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a remote or home-based customer service role Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
