Job Overview In this critical role, you will play a vital part in protecting our merchants and cardholders from fraudulent activities. As a Remote Customer Service Fraud Specialist, you will respond to a high volume of account inquiries, providing standard and scripted responses to Service Level Agreement (SLA) defined alerts generated within the fraud detection queues. Your expertise will help prevent further losses and fraudulent activity, ensuring the security and trust of our clients. Key Responsibilities Respond to 25 or more account inquiries per hour, providing timely and effective support to merchants and cardholders of assigned clients. Assist with the completion of lost or stolen reports, including blocking and transferring compromised accounts to prevent further losses and fraudulent activity. Build credit card replacement orders and complete shipping materials, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery. Develop knowledge and basic skills required to identify fraudulent credit card activity through training, research of department policies, procedures, external regulations, and analytic techniques. Collaborate with experienced fraud analysts to gain expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in fraud detection and prevention. Minimum Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or Equivalent. A minimum of six months of contact center or work-from-home contact center experience in the last 18 months. Flexibility and openness to work schedules that include mid-shift to late shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of your weekly schedule. The ability to work on camera at all times, ensuring a professional and secure working environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 12 months of contact center or work-from-home contact center experience in the last 18 months. Banking customer service experience, with a strong understanding of payment systems and fraud detection principles.
