Key Responsibilities and Expectations In this role, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls, maintaining effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties, and staying up-to-date on new and updated procedures regarding policy information. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, and you will not have any sales responsibilities. Some of the key responsibilities include: Managing a significant volume of inbound calls, averaging between 70-120 calls daily, and ensuring that each interaction is handled with professionalism and care. Maintaining effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties, and ensuring that all inquiries are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Staying informed about new and updated procedures regarding policy information, and applying this knowledge to provide accurate and helpful support to policyholders. Ensuring that customer needs are met in every interaction, whether conducted via phone, email, or written correspondence, and providing additional policy information as needed. Meeting established department standards for call volume, average call handling time, and effective time management, and continually striving to improve performance and efficiency. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, and have strong organizational and time management abilities. You will also need to be capable of typing at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute and be able to multi-task and perform efficiently under pressure. Some of the essential qualifications and skills include: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Capable of typing at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute, with high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to multi-task and perform efficiently under pressure, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not mandatory, we prefer candidates with remote work experience, as well as those with experience in the insurance industry. You will need to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role, and be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and you will need to have a reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed, as well as a quiet and professional home office environment. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role, with a strong focus on customer service and support. Remote work experience, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. Experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of policy coverage and claim procedures. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational foundation and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed, with a hard-wired connection and a quiet and professional home office environment.
