About the Position This Remote Customer Service Representative role is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of working from home. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support and guidance to our customers, helping them navigate the complexities of health insurance enrollment and services. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that each customer interaction is professional, courteous, and resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Deliver the highest level of customer service experience consistently, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing technical support as needed. Manage customer accounts with precision, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate, and provide support with application data entry. Respond to online chat inquiries in a timely and professional manner, as assigned. Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels. Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing, with the understanding that eligibility to proceed through training and certifications is dependent upon passing required exams. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that align with the demands and expectations of the position. Essential Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age or older. Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace. Own a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period. Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period. Complete a background check and health screening as part of the onboarding process. Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite connections are not compatible with our internal systems). Possess moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated and success-driven. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer support or technical support role. Familiarity with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act. Experience working in a call center environment. Knowledge of CRM systems and practices. Spanish bilingual skills are considered a plus. Spanish bilingual representatives may be eligible for higher rates.
