Job Summary In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our technology team to develop and maintain coverage, provide departmental insights on performance, and create data models to solve complex quantitative tasks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc reporting to support business processes and data-driven decision making. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI and Excel to support business decision making Design and implement robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility Manage and create new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse Collaborate with stakeholders, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architecture Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI Assist in automating existing business functions and improving exception-based reporting Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables (data mining) Analyze large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies Validate data for accuracy by verifying against requirements Investigate data errors and remediate poor data quality Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures Review and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide feedback to team leaders on areas that require attention Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and M Code Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets highly preferred Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query Experience with Smartsheets Strong work ethic and ability to progress and complete tasks and deadlines in a timely manner Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives Knowledge of data mining and machine learning concepts Experience with other data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SQL Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
