Job Overview In this role, you will be working remotely and will be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, and record keeping. Your primary focus will be on entering and updating data accurately, verifying data accuracy for high-quality information, managing and optimizing data, collaborating with team members to maintain data integrity, and backing up and updating data on a regular basis. Key Responsibilities: Enter and update data accurately in our database systems, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to quality standards. Verify data accuracy for high-quality information, identifying and correcting errors or discrepancies as needed. Manage and optimize data to ensure it is up-to-date, complete, and relevant, making recommendations for improvements as necessary. Collaborate with team members to maintain data integrity, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy. Backup and update data on a regular basis, following established protocols and procedures to ensure data security and recovery. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our data management systems, providing support and training to colleagues as required. Participate in quality assurance activities, contributing to the development of processes and procedures to improve data quality and accuracy. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer science. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), with experience in data entry and management software. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and management. Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as computer science, business administration, or data management. Experience in data entry and management, with a strong understanding of data quality and integrity principles. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI. Certification in data management or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).
