Job Overview The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for continuously updating our company's databases by collecting information from employees, other departments, and clients. This will involve liaising with and following up with relevant parties to gather reports, personal details, documents, and other information. The successful candidate will be able to capture data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner, identify and correct errors, and bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. Key Responsibilities Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients Scanning through information to identify pertinent information, correcting errors, and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering and updating information into relevant databases Ensuring data is backed up and informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval Handling additional duties from time to time Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma and at least 1+ years of experience in a relevant field. You will also need to have a good command of English, excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed is essential, as is proficiency in touch typing skills.
