Primary Responsibilities Pull and gather data from relevant computer systems, software applications, and online data sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review and verify collected data to identify errors or discrepancies, seeking clarifications or corrections as needed. Prioritize and assign data entry or report requests to appropriate personnel, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Manually enter and scan relevant data using applicable systems or programs, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Perform audits of submitted data entries, providing feedback to team members to ensure ongoing quality and accuracy. Facilitate corrections to incorrect data entry, reviewing system-generated reports to identify potential errors or discrepancies. Generate and run reports to verify, correct, and update information, escalating challenging data entry problems to management as needed. Adhere to internal workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant computer systems and platforms. Utilize relevant software applications, such as Excel, Word, and SharePoint, to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Stay up-to-date with changes to relevant workflows, policies, and procedures, educating internal team members on applicable changes to data entry procedures, tools, and systems. Essential Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. 3+ years of data entry experience in a corporate or business setting, managed healthcare, hospital, or insurance environment. Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, entry, and reporting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. Solid data management experience, preferably within managed care, referral management, patient appointing, and/or patient administration functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Solid data mining, analytical, and reporting skills, with experience in generating and running reports to provide business insights.
