Job Overview This is a part-time, entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity to work remotely and gain experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing excellent customer service to our clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Understand and identify customs documentation, including customs declarations and other relevant documents Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in the logistics and supply chain industry Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Previous experience in data entry, customs brokerage, or a related field Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, including Harmonized System (HS) classification and tariff codes Experience with logistics and supply chain software, including transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
