Join our Finance department​ as a Finance Process Improvement Expert located in our Warsaw Center of Excellence office (remote). Position Summary: We are seeking a Finance Process Improvement Expert to join our international Finance department. Based in our Warsaw Center of Excellence (remote), you will drive process excellence and lead transformational change across our global finance operations, with a particular focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage finance process improvement initiatives within the finance function, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. • Analyze existing processes, identify areas for optimization, and implement best practices across European and Middle East offices. • Conduct root cause analyses and facilitate workshops to map current (“as-is†) processes and define opportunities for standardization and enhancement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. • Support the training and development of staff on new processes and systems. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. • Participate in business travel as required to support process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Skills & Competencies: • Demonstrated ability to work well, be influential and communicate effectively with senior leadership and staff, including presenting ideas in a clear, succinct manner • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation. Including active listening and ability to convey information clearly • Candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision • Analytical with exceptional problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills • Anticipate work needs, proactive in identifying accounting issues and providing solutions • Critical thinker with the ability to shift priorities and manage change with a positive outcome Qualifications & Prior Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Minimum 10 years of finance or accounting experience, with extensive knowledge of accounting and billing principles. • Demonstrated experience in process analysis and optimization, preferably in an international, diverse environment (experience within a law firm is a plus). • Practical experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and expense management systems (Concur required; Aderant is an advantage). • Have practical experience in running workshops at different levels of organisational structure. • Are confident using English (C1/C2) to engage clearly and appropriately with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
