Job Title: Investor Liaison & Engagement Associate – Utility-Scale Renewables (MN or Remote) Engagement Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Compensation: $100,000 annual compensation Experience Level: 2+ years Location: Minnesota or Remote Sector: Utility-Scale Wind, Solar & Energy Storage Role Overview We are seeking an Investor Liaison & Engagement Associate to support investor communications, relationship management, and capital engagement activities for a growing utility-scale renewable energy platform. This role will work closely with senior leadership, development, and finance teams to ensure investors are informed, engaged, and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. This is a 1099 contractor position, ideal for a self-directed professional with strong communication skills and an understanding of renewable energy investment dynamics. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors • Support investor outreach, follow-ups, and ongoing relationship management • Prepare and maintain investor-facing materials including pitch decks, project updates, data rooms, and performance summaries • Coordinate investor meetings, site visits, and virtual presentations • Track investor inquiries, feedback, and engagement activity • Assist with capital raise efforts, strategic partnerships, and transaction support • Collaborate with development and finance teams to translate technical project information into clear investor communications • Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive activity in utility-scale renewables • Ensure timely and professional communication aligned with brand and compliance expectations Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, project finance, renewables, infrastructure, or a related field • Familiarity with utility-scale renewable energy projects (wind, solar, and/or BESS) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to synthesize financial, technical, and commercial information for investor audiences • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Comfortable working independently in a contractor environment • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM or investor tracking tools Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting capital raises, joint ventures, or project-level investments • Understanding of project finance structures, tax equity, or infrastructure funds • Prior exposure to IPPs, developers, private equity, or infrastructure investors • Existing relationships within the renewable energy investment community What This Role Offers • Competitive compensation on a 1099 basis • Flexible, remote-friendly working arrangement • Exposure to senior investors and high-impact renewable energy projects • Opportunity to grow into a senior investor relations or capital markets role • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment in a high-growth sector If interested please reach out to Simon Howard ([email protected]) Apply tot his job
