The Position: We are currently seeking a remote full charge Accountant to provide excellent customer service and efficient financial statement preparation to provide our clients the financial information that is necessary to facilitate profitable business operations. This individual will need to be professional, strong in technology, confidential, and thorough with excellent communication skills. Candidate must reside in the USA. General Duties: Ability to handle multiple business clients concurrently (you will have multiple client responsibilities) Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions Understanding of GAAP and managerial accounting: • Accruals/Deferrals • Proper balance sheet structure (CPLTD, treatment of related company transfer activity, etc.) • Job costing • Direct cost accounting Ad hoc projects such as clean-up of client accounting records Conducts periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends Complies with all federal, state and local legal requirements Identifies unusual items or transactions recorded Actively provides feedback for process improvement ideas Ability to work well individually as well as within a team Manage client deadlines Qualifications: QB Pro Advisor preferred Multi-unit Restaurant/Franchise experience a plus Intacct experience a plus Private/Public experience combo a plus 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience required Strong analytical and detail orientation skills Identify specific bookkeeping skills (i.e. your specific area of expertise; payroll, POS, AP/AR, etc.) Must pass a background assessment that will be administered using Group 11 Advisor's standards Must pass aptitude tests including QuickBooks, Excel, and Fundamentals of Bookkeeping Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance a plus but not required Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Technical savvy a must, we work with a high level of technology - cloud based computing, VOIP phones, etc. Please send resume and salary history to [email protected] with the subject line as "accountant" Expected salary: Location: Orange, CA Job date: Sun, 21 Aug 2022 02:42:45 GMT Apply for the job now!
