As an Audio Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating an immersive and emotionally engaging sound experience for one of Netflix's original, internally developed games. Job Details: Hiring Organization: Netflix Post Name: Audio Lead Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Industry: Private Employment Type: Full-time Work Hours: 8 hours Salary: $26/hour Locations: Arizona, USA Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Creative Director and Design Director to define the sound vision for the game and lead the team to bring this vision to life. Drive the creation of audio effects, music, character dialogue, and other sound content to deliver an immersive and emotionally engaging experience. Lead cross-discipline collaboration to spec, build, and tune all sound systems, working closely with the design and engineering teams. Implement content in Unreal Engine, from rapid prototypes to robust live content. Manage and guide other sound team members as well as manage relationships with vendors and other external partners. Use playtest, user research, and other data to create a game experience that resonates deeply with our players. Ideal Candidate: Experience with industry-standard sound tools like Wwise, Pro Tools, etc. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, particularly with a remote team. Strong project management skills and a proven ability to manage sound production that relies heavily on vendors and other external partners.
