We are seeking experienced part-time Survey Research Telephone Interviewers to join our team at the Survey Research Center (SRC) at The Pennsylvania State University. As a Survey Research Telephone Interviewer, you will play a crucial role in administering carefully developed research questionnaires via telephone to respondents across Pennsylvania, providing valuable insights into health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and use of preventive services. Key Responsibilities As a Survey Research Telephone Interviewer, your key responsibilities will include: Administering carefully developed research questionnaires via telephone to respondents across Pennsylvania Collecting and recording data in a timely and accurate manner Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for respondents Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines Participating in paid training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation (if working in-person) or reliable internet (if working remotely) Availability to work evenings and weekends (candidates must have weekend availability) Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial: Experience in a call center or research environment Knowledge of survey research methods and techniques Ability to work with diverse populations and perspectives Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry software Skills and Competencies Required for Success To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Survey Research Telephone Interviewer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
