Key Responsibilities
- Proactive Business Development: Hunt and prospect for new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in the Freight Forwarding industry and strong communication skills to engage potential clients and build relationships.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and providing customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify new business prospects and stay ahead of the competition.
- Sales Closure: Effectively present value propositions, negotiate terms, and secure contracts to close sales and meet or exceed revenue growth targets.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for effective pipeline management.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience within the Freight Forwarding/International Supply Chain industry, with a track record of hunting and prospecting for new business.
- Sales Closure Skills: Ability to successfully close sales and meet or exceed revenue growth targets.
- CRM and MS Office Skills: Solid experience using CRM systems and MS Office products.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and successfully close deals.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
