Job Details Job Details: We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Tax Director to oversee our company's tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company's tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of international and corporate tax laws, excellent business development skills, and a proven ability to lead and train a team. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for the company and its clients. Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations. Provide expert tax advisory services to the company and its clients. Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns and other financial documents to identify potential tax risks and opportunities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making. Lead business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand the company's tax services. Train and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Represent the company and its clients in tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes effectively to the team and clients. Qualifications: Active CPA license is mandatory. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, including at least 2 years of experience representing clients in tax audits and negotiations. Extensive knowledge of local, state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations. Proven experience in business tax planning and corporate tax. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective tax planning strategies. Strong business development skills, with a proven track record of attracting new clients and expanding tax services. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and supervising a team of tax professionals. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review financial documents for tax risks and opportunities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company and its clients effectively in tax audits and negotiations. Interested in hearing more?
