BluOcean Cyber is a fast-growing cybersecurity company helping private equity firms, hedge funds, wealth management firms, RIAs, family offices, and fund administrators secure their cloud environments. They are looking for an experienced business development leader to open doors, build trusted client relationships, and drive enterprise sales from initial introduction through close.
Responsibilities
- Leverage existing relationships to develop executive introductions and generate new business opportunities for BluOcean Cyber solutions
- Develop, qualify, and close new business opportunities across the investment management ecosystem
- Own the enterprise sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, COOs, and other business leaders
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to position and present solutions
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to help shape our go-to-market strategy
Skills
- Minimum 3+ years of successful enterprise sales experience selling cybersecurity solutions into the investment management industry, including private equity firms, hedge funds, wealth management firms, RIAs, family offices, fund administrators, or related financial services organizations
- Established executive relationships within the investment management ecosystem with a demonstrated ability to open doors and engage decision-makers
- Proven success selling one or more of the following solution categories: Cloud Security, Product Security, SEC and FINRA Risk and compliance Management
- Demonstrated success developing new business, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and consistently closing strategic opportunities
- Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity principles and the ability to credibly engage executive buyers on security, technology, and business risk
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Existing relationships with CFOs, COOs, CTOs, CISOs, Operating Partners, or risk leaders within the investment management community
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, governance, or SaaS security
- Experience working with emerging technology or high-growth cybersecurity companies
