Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Eskow Law Group is a boutique healthcare-focused law firm seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The attorney will focus on healthcare-related property transactions, leading purchase and sale components of real estate deals and advising clients on property ownership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs), deeds, closing documents, and related real estate contracts
- Lead real estate due diligence for property acquisitions, including title and survey reviews, zoning analysis, environmental reports, and property-related deal structuring
- Advise on the real estate conveyance aspects of healthcare M&A transactions, ensuring seamless transitions of property ownership during business acquisitions
- Coordinate and manage commercial real estate closings, collaborating with title companies, lenders, and internal/external stakeholders
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial leases
- Support clients’ real estate needs as part of broader strategic initiatives
Skills
- Applicants must be located in Massachusetts (MA), New York (NY), or Connecticut (CT)
- JD from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 2+ years of commercial real estate experience, with a heavy emphasis on property purchases, sales, and conveyancing and moderate emphasis on commercial leasing
- Demonstrated experience handling healthcare-related real estate transactions, or a strong interest in focusing on the healthcare sector
- Ability to manage multiple transactions, closings, and deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Preference for Massachusetts and multi-state licensure
- An individual book of business is not required, but is welcome
