Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Digital Monitoring Products is seeking a Director of Sales for the Southwest region. The role involves managing sales and business operations within the assigned territory, leading a team of Regional Sales Managers, and ensuring that sales objectives are met in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals
- Ensure both top-line objectives and expense budget objectives are managed and met
- Work directly with the Vice President of Sales to establish strategies, tactics, and go-to-market plans for sales for the entire company
- Maintain a high level of communication with direct reports and work with other departments to ensure overall company success
- Develop, maintain, and improve business relations with our customers
- Keep leadership informed by preparing, reviewing, and submitting activity regional reports, pipeline reports, and regional analyses
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to leadership
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Observes and adheres to DMP Data Classification Standard
- Conduct daily business and represent DMP following published company Mission & Values and in compliance with all company policies and departmental guidelines
Skills
- Sales executive with ten or more years of sales and territory management experience and at least two years working in a sales staff management capacity
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively via air and automobile
- Self-motivated; capable of working without direct supervision
- Accept and benefit from constructive criticism
