They are seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Director to drive revenue growth on a profit-sharing basis, owning the full sales cycle and leveraging an existing industry network.
Responsibilities
- You will own the full sales cycle: identifying and qualifying prospects among pharma, biotech, CRO, medical device, and medical affairs organizations; leveraging your existing industry network to open doors; leading product presentations and demos alongside our team; negotiating and closing SaaS licensing and services deals; and building a repeatable pipeline across India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America
Skills
- 8+ years in business development or enterprise sales within life sciences software, pharma services, CRO services, or related domains
- An established network of decision-makers in pharmacovigilance, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, quality, or medical affairs
- Working knowledge of drug safety and clinical trial workflows (ICSR, E2B, MedDRA, EDC/CDMS ecosystems, etc.) — enough to hold a credible conversation with heads of PV and clinical operations
- A proven record of closing B2B SaaS or services deals, ideally against established players (Oracle Argus, Veeva, Medidata, ArisGlobal)
- Self-driven, comfortable with an outcome-based engagement, and motivated by ownership rather than a fixed salary
