LinkedIn is seeking experienced commercial contracts and contract lifecycle professionals to provide expert insight as part of a project for their AI Marketplace. This role involves completing a one-time, paid, project-based interview focused on explaining real-world workflows in commercial contract management.
Responsibilities
- Intaking, triaging, routing, and prioritizing contract requests based on deal type, urgency, complexity, and required information
- Drafting from templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and counterparty paper while managing version control and escalation rules
- Reviewing redlines, negotiating fallback positions, coordinating stakeholder input, and documenting business-versus-legal risk decisions
- Managing approvals, signature routing, execution checks, authority verification, repository storage, and metadata capture
- Explaining workflows specifically within: commercial contract intake, drafting, negotiation, risk review, approvals, signature, and execution workflows
Skills
- 7+ years in commercial contracts, commercial legal, contract management, contract operations, or CLM execution
- Direct, hands-on experience in commercial contract intake, drafting, negotiation, risk review, approvals, signature, and execution workflows
- Experience making or influencing decisions related to routing logic, playbook deviations, fallback positions, escalation thresholds, risk acceptance, approval requirements, and execution readiness
- Familiarity with tools such as: Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Icertis, Conga, Salesforce, Coupa, Word, SharePoint, DocuSign, Adobe Sign
- Strong ability to clearly explain workflows, decisions, and reasoning
- Experience owning or directly executing these workflows in a real production environment
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, business, finance, compliance, security, procurement, product, engineering, or outside counsel stakeholders as relevant to the workflow
