Security Dispatcher- OLG

About the position Responsibilities • Consistently answers calls using standard company greeting. • Solicit and document information needed from callers to determine level of security assistance and then to dispatch officers to assist callers. • Responds to all codes/notifications during emergency incidents. • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards. • Handles all call and on-call for security and emergency preparedness. Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent. • 1 year experience as a telephone operator, dispatcher or related experience. • International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 days of promotion/hire. • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals. • Good analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Demonstrates Good Judgement. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Strong customer service skills. • Must possess a good command of the English language, along with the ability to speak clearly and distinctly.
