US Tax Accountant & Experienced Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced tax preparer and accountant for US clients. Must Study US Laws! Must be able to handle bookkeeping/accounting work and tax preparation. Must know how the balance sheet will impact the tax returns. Experience: S-corp returns, must have tax knowledge, understand distributions vs salary. How to analyze the balance sheet or P&L. 1065 partnerships (book vs tax balance) Business Tax Preparation-Schedule C -Run tax scenario's to determine the best tax rates for S-corp vs Schedule C -Bookkeeping for small business owners, short term rental hosts and real estate investors -Must know cash vs accrual accounting methods -Record YE adjusting journal entries (depreciation, accruals, prepaids, etc.) -Accurately map payroll from Gusto, ADP, or other systems and post correct payroll JEs -Perform account reconciliations and monthly/quarterly closes -Prepare customized financial reports and analysis to support monthly review -Full cycle bookkeeping/close _ -Must have accounting knowledge -Account reconciliations Quickbooks reconciliations, classes, setting rules -Know how to prepare adjusting entries -Understand depreciation, home office deductions, mileage etc, - Onboard clients, communicate with clients for missing documents -Maintain taxdome CRM -Set up or modify tax workflows -AD Hoc support -Client email support -Complete S-corp entity elections, set up payroll or run payroll for clients. • *Must know US tax laws -Assist with estimated taxes Assist with ad hoc projects as needed/Admin Support • Attention to details • Integrity • Open to suggestions & feedback • Self starter, organized and Motivated Software: My Tax Prep Office, CRM, Google Docs Apply tot his job
