Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Customer Service Representative to join our Sleep Central (After Hours Call Center) team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences by contacting patients regarding equipment delivery, taking orders, verifying patient information, and placing orders in a timely manner. This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities Accurately transcribe patient profiles over the telephone, including data entry of information and possible outbound calling Obtain medically necessary documentation and process patient orders through our online pharmacy system Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and supplies Troubleshoot problems based on patient input, providing empathetic and effective solutions to ensure patient satisfaction Verify orders are complete and accurate, ensuring seamless delivery of care Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with experience in the medical field and administrative record management A strong customer service background, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care Valid driver's license in state of residence (if applicable), with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen (if applicable) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in a call center or customer service environment, with a focus on patient care and satisfaction Knowledge of medical terminology and home medical equipment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel Experience with online pharmacy systems and electronic health records Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, compassion, and patient satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion when handling sensitive patient information Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
