Remote .NET Core Developer – Back End

Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a skilled and experienced .NET Core Developer to join our back-end development team. This is a remote position where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and web services for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate is proficient in back-end technologies, especially within the Microsoft stack, and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities • * Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems using .NET Core. • * Build robust RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications and third-party systems. • * Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product managers. • * Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. • * Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability. • * Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning. • * Implement and maintain security and data protection protocols. • * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner. • * Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • ✅ Required Skills and Qualifications • * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • * Strong command of .NET Core / .NET 5+, C#, and Entity Framework Core. • * Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • * Proficiency with SQL Server, stored procedures, and query optimization. • * Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles. • * Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is highly desirable. • * Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments is a plus. • * Good understanding of version control systems like Git. • * Ability to write unit and integration tests using xUnit/NUnit or similar frameworks. • Experience • * 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Back-End Developer working with .NET Core. • * Proven track record of building enterprise-level web applications and APIs. • Working Hours • * Flexible remote schedule based on 40 hours per week. • * Core collaboration hours: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST (adjustable based on team location). • * Occasional availability for international meetings across time zones. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • * Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote team environment. • * Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly. • * Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently. • * Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code. • Benefits • * 100% Remote – work from the comfort of your home. • * Competitive salary based on experience and skillset. • * Performance-based incentives and bonuses. • * Access to premium learning and development resources. • * Health and wellness support (where applicable). • * Opportunity to work with a global and diverse team. • * Paid time off and national holidays. • Why Join Houston Skilled Consultancy?
